There are multiple options. Medibles are a Natural healthier approach to treat and manage a myriad of Debilitating conditions
Inhaling versus Eating
exactly what effect edibles will have on you depends on several factors: the type and potency of the edibles you are using, your tolerance, your body chemistry, and even how much you’ve had to eat. Because the effects of eating an edible differ greatly from the effects of smoking, many first time users are caught off guard by the stronger potency and long-lasting effects.
Despite CBD’s anxiety relieving properties, many people experience a heightened sense of anxiety and paranoia when they initially ingest an edible. This is caused by various factors, but tends to mostly deal with fact that most people are not used to ingesting cannabis yet and have feelings of uncertainty, which leads to anxiety and paranoia. This seems to fade away the more you eat them, and get used to the effects. You see, when you smoke marijuana you only receive a small amount of the cannabinoids in each hit, although it will be felt instantly. Where as, edibles tend to hit you much more slowly. This allows the cannabinoids to be released in waves, as they are processed by the stomach and digested.

Classifying edibles and the methods of consumption
METHODS OF CONSUMPTION
There are many factors that come into play when referring to edibles one of which is the method by which the active ingredient is ingested into the body
Edibles fall into two basic categories those taken gastrointestinal (Eaten and digested through the GI tract) or sublingually (administered under the Tongue). Some items such as Drinks, elixirs and some chocolates are Hybrid because the product is absorbed by both the mouth and stomach.
Gastrointestinally, this is a product that is eaten and the cannabinoids are introduced to the body through the gastrointestinal tract and processed by the liver before entering the blood steam The liver changes the cannabinoid THC into the more potent 11-hydroxy-THC which tends to have a stronger more sedative effect. This makes cannabis edibles especially suitable for patients with sleep disorders caused by pain or general insomnia. Patients ingesting Edibles will often feel the effects within 45 to 90 minutes with a high lasting between 6 to 10 hours.. Products like Cookies, Brownies, Chocolate and Muffins fall into this category.
Sublingually, These are products administered under the tongue. Most common products are Tinctures, Drops, Candies, Lollipops, Lozenges and even gum. applied on the skin, or consumed directly in small amounts or by placing drops under the tongue. These are absorbed into the Blood stream and you feel the effects almost instantly but tend to wear off faster. This is particularly useful when nausea and vomiting are present, such as when undergoing chemotherapy treatments. tinctures can also be added to food or drink so it can be processed gastrointestinally by the liver in the same manner as eating cannabis edibles. THC is converted to 11-hydroxy-THC which takes more time to reach the brain, but delivers many more hours of relief.

Types of Medible products
All tinctures are extracts, but not all extracts are tinctures!
Tincture- Tinctures are concentrated herbal extracts that have alcohol as the solvent. If you are using water, Oils ,vinegar, glycerin, or any menstruum (solvent) other than alcohol, your preparation is an extract – not a tincture. tinctures are usually taken Sublingually (under the tongue) but can be added to drinks or food so as to be processed Gastrointestinally
Cannabis Oil- Cannabis Oil (cannaoil): is concentrated herbal extracts that have Some type of Oil as the solvent. If you are using water, Oils ,vinegar, glycerin, or any menstruum (solvent) other than alcohol, your preparation is an extract. almost any Oil can bu used, Commonly Glycerin Oil or Canola oil are used. Oils can be substituted in recipes, used as a food additive or taken directly under the tongue for fastest effect.
Topicals and ointments Creams and oils infused with cannabis extracts so as to be applied to the skin. Transdermal THCCannabis-infused lotions work because of the body’s own endogenous cannabinoid system, which forms the biological basis for marijuana’s healing magic. When you apply an infused lotion or salve to help relieve neuropathic pain, itchiness and other ailments, the cannabinoids in the topical bind to CB2 receptors in your skin, which absorb them in a way that helps cells regenerate, allowing wounds to heal faster and easing painful chronic conditions like eczema and psoriasis. Depending on the carrier oil used in formulating the body-care product, the cannabinoids penetrate deeply enough into the skin to relieve muscle pain and arthritis inflammation, but not so deep that THC enters the bloodstream or central nervous system.

Hash oil- Hash oil is a mix of essential oils and resins extracted from mature cannabis foliage through the use of various solvents such as ethanol or hexane. The solvent is then evaporated, which leaves the oil. Hash oil tends to have a high proportion of cannabinoids—a range from 30 to 90% THC content can be found. Can be smoked with a specialty pipe (specifically for hash oil or hash), with a vaporizer, with cannabis bud in a pipe, joint, or added to food.
Edibles- food and confectionery products that have been made using Cannabis extracts or oils. they range from products such as cookies, brownies and muffins to Candies, Caramels, Mints and Gum. To be effective, cannabis and its extracts or concentrates must be heated in order to convert the cannabinoid tetrahydrocannabinolic acid into active THC. Digestive processes alter the metabolism of cannabinoids and produce a different metabolite of THC in the liver. That metabolite may produce markedly different effects or negligible ones, depending on the individual. Onset of effects are delayed and last longer due to slower absorption of the cannabinoids. Cannabinoids are fat-soluble, hydrophobic oils, meaning they dissolve in oils, butters, fats and alcohol, but not water. Processes using oil, butter, fat or alcohol can extract the cannabinoids from plant material. Various forms of converted cannabis can be used for edible medicating. .Each can be made from cannabis flowers, leaves of concentrates such as hash. The potency of the edible will depend on the material used in making it and the amount used.
Cannabis Butter- Cannabis butter (cannabutter) is butter infused with cannabinoids. Heat raw cannabis with butter to extract cannabinoids into the fat. Various means to extract include heating the butter and cannabis mixture at low temperature in a frying pan or pot, double boiler, or slow cooker then straining out the plant material. Can be used in any recipe that includes oil and that doesn't go over 280 degrees Fahrenheit.
Spray- Sublingual sprays is another way of using a tincture. Use ethanol alcohol to extract the cannabinoids. You use a pump to spray cannabis-alcohol solution under your tongue.
Drinks-elixirs Drinks using concentrated extracts infused with extracted cannabinoids.
Cannabis Liquor- Liquor may be infused with cannabinoids. Best to cook stems and leaves into brandy or rum. Can be added to coffee and other beverages.
Cannabis Topicals (applied to the skin) Cannabinoids combined with a penetrating topical cream can enter the skin and body tissues and allow for direct application to affected areas

Cannabis Topicals (applied to the skin) Cannabinoids combined with a penetrating topical cream can enter the skin and body tissues and allow for direct application to affected areas
- Cannabinoids in cannabis interact with CB1 and CB2 receptors that are found all over the body, including the skin.
- Both THC and Cannabidiol (CBD) have been found to provide pain relief and reduce inflammation.
- Topical cannabis use does not produce a psychoactive effect, which is different from eating or inhaling the medicine.
Different types of cannabis topicals include:
- Salve Balms: cannabinoids heated into coconut oil combined with bees wax and cooled. Rub directly on skin.
- Cream: cannabinoids heated into shea butter combined with other ingredients and cooled. Rub directly on skin.
